With v9.0.0 shipped, the longer-term direction is to evolve Improve-ImgSLI from a single-purpose image comparison utility into a full "media comparison factory" — with proper workspaces, project management, and eventually video comparison alongside images.

Planned Features & Improvements

• Workspaces & Project Management: The tab system already works internally, but new tab types beyond the comparison view are planned no earlier than June or July 2026. The long-term goal is a robust project-management layer for handling complex workflows across multiple sessions.
• Video Comparison: Extending the comparison foundation from still images to side-by-side video comparison. This is the headline direction for the "media comparison factory" idea and depends on first finishing several pending improvements in the core image workflow.
• Video Editor Completion: The keyframe-based timeline introduced in v8.1.0 still needs to grow into a proper editing workflow before video comparison can fully land.
